Episode 26 of the Saving the World webinar series features Hothouse members reflecting on the state of planetary health equity and answering, 'where to next?'.

How has planetary health equity fared in 2025, and what levers are there for positive change? Join Professor Sharon Friel, Dr Nick Frank, and Dr Hridesh Gajurel for the final Saving the World webinar of 2025.

They will reflect on what we learned from the webinars this year about the power structures obstructing planetary health equity and plausible pathways to positive change. They will also discuss recent work emerging from the ARC Laureate Fellowship Planetary Health Equity Hothouse, including work on policy paradigm shifts and on the largely hidden but crucial role of export credit agencies in public energy financing.

The ‘Saving the World’ webinar series, presented by the Planetary Health Equity Hothouse, releases a new episode each month, discussing the intersections between climate change, inequity and human health. The webinars focus on actions that enable transformative change away from the harmful consumptogenic system to systems that promote good health, social equity and environmental wellbeing.
